How your data is used

Your data is used to correspond about, create and deliver your stationery from initial enquiry to delivery of on the day elements. Depending on the type of product that you order (including the method (if any) of print) and the delivery option, the data that is relevant to create your product/order may need to be shared with our printing and product delivery partners in order to complete your order. I have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that our print partners, and the electronic/digital systems we use, also have up to date privacy policies that adhere to GDPR. I will not share your details with any third parties unless, in the rare event, we were required to do so for legal or vital requirements.

I may use your completed stationery to showcase online on my website, social media and at events where I showcase our stationery (wedding shows). When used online I endeavour to ensure this does not show any personal details that pertain to a certain person.

When sharing samples with prospective clients I try when possible to only use my own fabricated samples for this purpose. If this is not possible, printed wedding stationery may also be used. In this rare occasion I will not include any RSVP’s with addresses or any invitations or details sheets that include private data such as addresses, email addresses and wedding websites.

How long will I hold your data for?

I will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for as well as for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. I may also retain your data if you have subscribed to my newsletters, mail-chimps or blog notifications. I also love to send my clients follow up anniversary cards, Christmas cards or other such celebration gifts which require the retention of your data. If you would rather I removed you from my list please feel free to email rocknpaper@hotmail.com and ask to be removed from my list.

To adhere to accounting and tax requirements, Rock'n Paper must keep basic information about my clients for six years after they stop being customers.
